Pre-Registration Requirements
- Verifiably commencing employment within the carbon markets or
- Currently employed within financial trading communities or
- Be CDM/JI/EUETS personnel from recognised consultancy firms or validation and verifying companies
Registration
Following hard copy or online registration by the applicant and the written communication by the course organisers to the participating organisation/applicant of the acceptance of the registration; there shall be a contract between the course organisers and the participating organisation/applicant to which the terms listed below apply.
Payment of Fees
The 120 hour Carbon Markets Professional Training package fees are €10,000 (+VAT ) and include all tuition costs, a Participants Pack containing all training materials, Reception Dinner, networking lunches and refreshments.
Please note that registration and full payment must be completed on or before 24 October 2008. The confirmation of your participation in the Initiative is subject to our receipt of payment before the deadline.

The applicant is responsible for the payment of any bank transfer charges which arise as a result of making payment by bank transfer.
Failure to ensure the full payment of fees in accordance with these terms may result in the programme organisers re-allocating the training place to another participant.
Cancellations Policy
If the registrant is unable to attend the training event for any reason they may substitute, by arrangement with the organisers, another suitably qualified individual from the same organisation. Please inform the organisers of any change to the original booking.
Where the registrant is unable to attend, and is not in a position to transfer his/her place to another suitable person, the following refund arrangements apply:
- Registrations cancelled more than 8 weeks prior to the date of the course will receive a refund of 70% of the registration fees.
- Registrations cancelled less than 8 weeks prior to the training will NOT be eligible for a refund in any circumstances other than where the cancellation is a result of a failed visa application.
- Cancellations due to failed visa applications will be eligible to receive a refund of 70% of the registration fees, until the commencement of the training, on provision of official documentation to support the claim.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to Deborah Homer, Programme Director at dh@carbon-training.com or Patricia Ortega, Course Assistant on po@carbon-training.com.
All refunds due will be made within 8 weeks of confirmation that a refund is due and will be made electronically.
Disclaimer
In exceptional circumstances it may be necessary, for reasons beyond the control of the organisers, to alter the content, venue, or the date and timing of the course. To the extent permitted by law there will be no associated liability whatsoever to the organisers or any individuals affiliated with the training in any capacity. All participants will be notified in advance of any material change.
In the event that this function is cancelled by the organisers for any reason within their control, a full refund price at the time of booking will be paid within 8 weeks, with no additional liability whatsoever to the organisers or any individuals affiliated with the initiative in any capacity.
If the event is postponed for reasons beyond the direct control of the organisers, bookings will be transferred to a revised date for the event. The terms listed here will apply to all transferred bookings.
The organisers are not responsible for the legal interpretation of training material. The organisers or other individuals affiliated with the initiative, do not accept responsibility for delegates’ actions, or those of other individuals reading the training notes or interpreting the training in litigation, or responsibility for any loss or damage incurred as a result of relying on the training or the training notes. If in doubt please consult your legal representative.

These terms contain the entire agreement between participating organisations, delegates and the organisers.
If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed and the remainder of the provisions will continue in full force in effect as if the terms had been executed with the invalid, illegal or unenforceable provision omitted. Any express or implied waiver to perform any obligations under these terms will not prevent the subsequent enforcement of them.
These terms shall be governed by Spanish law and all Parties hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Spanish courts. Nothing in this clause shall limit our right to take proceedings against fee defaulters in any other court of competent jurisdiction.
